Position: Professional Truck Driver

Employer: Triedge Logistics Inc.
Location: Blumenort, Manitoba (36 Barkman St, R0A 0C1)
Work Type: On-site only

Compensation & Schedule

  • Wage: $31.00 per hour
  • Hours: 32–35 hours per week
  • Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Work Timing Includes:

  • Early mornings, days, evenings, nights
  • Weekends and on-call shifts
  • Overtime and flexible scheduling available

Role Overview

As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods while maintaining high standards of efficiency, safety, and customer service. This role requires adaptability to changing road and delivery conditions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Truck Driver you will be responsible for the following:

Driving & Route Management

  • Plan and modify routes using GPS and navigation tools
  • Ensure fuel efficiency and environmentally conscious driving

Cargo Handling

  • Load and unload freight
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo, mileage, and fuel usage

Vehicle Maintenance & Safety

  • Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
  • Monitor vehicle systems (brakes, tires, lights, etc.)
  • Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Handle emergency roadside repairs if needed

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain driver logbooks and inspection reports
  • Complete trip and incident reports
  • Secure permits for international cargo transport

Customer Interaction

  • Provide professional service
  • Address client concerns effectively

Requirements

This job requires:

Education

  • Secondary (high) school diploma

Experience

  • 1 to under 2 years of related experience

Certifications

  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks)
  • Air Brakes Endorsement

Work Conditions

  • Physically demanding (heavy lifting required)
  • Long periods of sitting
  • Repetitive tasks
