Position: Fruit Farm Worker

- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Work Timing Includes:
- Early morning, morning, day, and evening shifts
- Weekend and on-call work
- Flexible hours
- Start as soon as possible
Role Overview
As a Fruit Farm Worker, you will assist in the cultivation, maintenance, and harvesting of crops, particularly blueberries. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in outdoor conditions.
Key Responsibilities
As a fruit farm worker, your responsibilities include the following tasks:
Crop Care & Maintenance
- Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- Apply fertilizers and spray crops
- Perform hoeing and weeding between rows
- Clean and maintain crops
Harvesting & Quality Control
- Harvest crops and divide produce into marketable and non-marketable lots
- Examine products for quality and readiness for market
Equipment Operation
- Operate and maintain farm machinery such as tractors
- Use automated systems for storage and manure handling
Monitoring & Reporting
- Detect crop diseases and health issues
- Maintain awareness of crop conditions

Requirements
This job requires the following:
Education
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
Experience
- 7 months to less than 1 year of related experience
Languages
- English
