Role Overview
As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing efficient customer service while accurately handling transactions. This role requires attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a cashier your responsibilities include the following tasks:
Transaction Management
- Operate cash register
- Process payments (cash, cheques, credit/debit cards)
- Scan items and tabulate totals
- Reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales
Customer Service
- Greet customers in a professional manner
- Verify age for restricted products (lottery tickets, alcohol, tobacco)
- Address customer inquiries and provide assistance
Accuracy & Compliance
- Ensure correct pricing and payment processing
- Maintain records of transactions
- Follow store policies and procedures

Requirements
This job requires the following:
Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
